I did this as a (very late) birthday gift for an amigo. He's a skater and a big fan of Romero's classic, Dawn Of The Dead [link] therefore; voila... Traditional paint was a VERY big handicap for me. I know for sure after this experience that I am DEFINITELY a digital creature. FAR more freedom + efficiency, yo. But, despite my own work thoughts, my friend liked it and that's the aim of the game.
The other side also includes a paraphrase of Peter's line: "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will skate the earth."

Hey, thanks sis. Yeah, I really liked the result...but I HATED actually doing it. Digital painting is the way for me, yo. Traditional is a draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag.
This is all sorts of kickass- I would love to receive this as a gift

"...and when no hope was left inside on that starry, starry night, you took your life as lovers often do. But I could have told you, Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you."
Well, I dont skate anymore, but this would go right on my wall, next to my .20 gauge

Hahaha. Awesome. Yeah, I LOVE deck art, but I'm never doing it 'straight-to-board' ever again. I hate working traditionally. No freedom. Too strict and inefficient. I'm Johnny Digital. In future I'll just do the design then leave the rest up to someone else.
Heh, good plan- if that works for you. I'm trying to learn how to paint XD

amazing. great job despite your handicap. i am also a big fan of the original Dawn of the Dead, one of the greatest zombie movies made. i have the remake but it doesn't hold up to the original...

Thanks a bunch, yo. Yeah, Dawn is some golden viewing. I have to say, though, that I think the remake stands on it's own 2 legs. I just consider them completely different movies. Double the fun, no?

It's not for me. WAY too many unnecessary steps that working digitally negates.
